Cinnamon and Honey

Cinnamon and Honey

I ran away with Karma and I didn’t even know it I should have seen it coming when she rolled around the bend. But Karma was more beautiful than all the seven wonders. We crossed the country over back when Karma was my friend.

Went on the road with Karma from Vermont to Arizona singing songs and burnin’ rubber under

cotton-candy skies. I’d turn and look at Karma as I sped on down the highway ‘cause I thought I could die happy when I fell into her eyes.

If it goes up it must come down, what goes around will come around. Just give it time it all works out, so they say. But Karma please come back to me.

I stole a kiss from Karma on a cloud in Colorado by the glow of heaven’s halo on a Rocky Mountain high. I put my trust in Karma and I told her all my secrets yes, she was my only weakness now she’s tangled in my mind.

I gave my heart to Karma in the hills of California where we’d wake up every morning to the sunshine through the trees. We’d walk beside the ocean as the autumn breeze was blowin’ but today there ain’t no telling if it all meant anything.

If it goes up it must come down, what goes around will come around. Just give it time it all works out, so they say. But Karma please come back to me.

I built a life with Karma as we traveled in a bubble hand-in-hand with one another it was all I ever dreamed. Yeah, Karma was my lover with a smile like the summer she’s my angel and my devil yes, she was my everything.

I said goodbye to Karma, and she handed me a flower then she said, “I’m sorry darlin’ but you’re tryin’ to chase the wind”. Don’t know if it was worth it, I suppose that I deserve it but I guess I lost my Karma, but it got me in the end.

If it goes up it must come down, what goes around will come around. Just give it time it all works out, so they say. But Karma please come back to me.
