My Horizon Line

My Horizon Line

When it comes down to you and me and what’s around and in between

I’ve found my missing link complete. She is my everything.

When sunshine smiles in her eyes, the countryside it comes alive and on a one-way westbound drive, she’s my horizon line.

When I can share a silhouette, a moonlight kiss so delicate, a rag-tag Romeo at best, but she's my Juliette.

When jealous thunder shakes the skies, and reason offers no reply I’ll hear her voice ring out like chimes she is my peace of mind.

And all that I can say is she’s so far away, but I think about her every day.

Remembering when you were only my friend then I started fallin’ in love again.

When I cry lonesome in the dark is she in someone else’s arms where rainbows rust and fall apart, she is my broken heart.

When she’s just too good to believe and I’m just blind enough to see the sweet delusion of my dreams, she is my fantasy.

And all that I can say is I’m running away where together happens every day.

My head’s in a spin when she’s holdin’ my hand ‘cause I’m finally fallin’ in love again.

If time it turns and sets us free, I’ll wrap you in a melody then play you in my memory.  She is my symphony.

No matter what tomorrow brings, you’re all I want and all I need my shining diamond, pixie queen, she is a part of me.

And all that I can say I wish you could stay, and I hope we find each other someday.

If this is the end right before it begins, can we fall in love all over again.
